Common Questions
Why did I not get a notification?
Notifications can be affected by:
- iPhone notification permissions
- Focus mode or Do Not Disturb
- Apple Watch notification routing
- Internet connection
- Low Power Mode
- Apple Push Notification service delays
- Live park data delays or outages
- Ride status changing before the next polling cycle
Open LineDrop settings and make sure Alerts are enabled. You can also use Send test alert to confirm your phone can receive LineDrop notifications.
Why did my Apple Watch get the alert but my phone did not?
Apple decides whether a notification appears on the iPhone, Apple Watch, or both depending on device state, wrist detection, notification settings, and Focus settings.
Why are wait times different from a park's official app?
Wait times can change quickly and may be delayed across different data sources. LineDrop is a planning and alert tool and should be used alongside official park information.
